On Saturday 24 October Coro Monti Verdi, conducted by Tamara Della Vedova, sang in the hall of the Palazzo Ducale in Revere, Borgo Mantovano, at the third concert of Chorus Inside Lombardia's «Cori a Teatro» series. Before the concert our hosts showed us round the palace, room by room, as far as its old clock mechanism. The guests were Coro Humana Vox of Borgocarbonara, conducted by Simone Morandi, with a programme of modern and international pieces in refined arrangements, accompanied on the piano. Monti Verdi's Alpine folk songs offered a convincing counterpoint, before an attentive and warm audience. It was a long trip, ending with the two choirs singing together: a finale that showed how much energy music can create. The evening closed at the dinner table with Coro Humana Vox, as the two choirs exchanged gifts.
The 23rd Melacanto festival, held during the Apple and Grape Fair, brought together Coro Monti Verdi, Coro Monteneve of Livigno (conducted by Cinzia Galli) and Coro Baitone of Edolo (conducted by Nicola Pietroboni) at the Auditorium "G. Mascioni". An afternoon of song, friendship and applause.
On Saturday 23 May the Sacro Cuore church in Tirano was full for the fourth Corincanto, the festival Coro Monti Verdi dedicates to its founder, William Marconi. The hosts, conducted by Tamara Della Vedova, were joined by Coro Alpette of Turin, under Luca Carmelo Sambataro, and Coro Desdacia of Sondrio, conducted by Diego Ceruti. For the finale the three choirs sang together among the audience. The evening also held a special moment for Coro Monti Verdi. In front of the altar, three new members — Carmine, Mauro Giacomo Tognela and Graziano Angelini — received the choir's green jumper, the sign that they are now full members. The president, Daniele Pola, shook their hands; the conductor, Tamara Della Vedova, welcomed them with a kiss on the forehead. Then everyone sat down to dinner with the guest choirs, as the festival's tradition demands.
The choir was a guest at the international festival "Mines en Choeur" in Aumetz, France, giving three concerts in churches across the region.
