"Approaching the world of choral singing is not difficult β€” all it takes is the desire to sing."
"You learn by imitation; naturally, you start by showing up β€˜on trial’, listening!"
"And then, β€˜who knows, perhaps because the passion for singing is alive, perhaps because he loves the bonds with those who are his friends or who are about to become so…’"

    Our History

Coro Monti Verdi APS was founded in Tirano, in the heart of the Valtellina, in 1966. For sixty years it has kept alive the tradition of mountain folk singing, a musical heritage that belongs to the Italian Alps.

Over the decades the choir has given 741 concerts in Italy and abroad, from France, Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany and Switzerland to Australia and the Philippines. More than 370 of them have been under its conductor, Tamara Della Vedova. Along the way it has recorded several albums, sung at leading choral festivals in Italy and abroad, and appeared on national and local television.

Today the choir is conducted by Tamara Della Vedova and has some 30 singers in four sections: baritones, basses, first tenors and second tenors.
